MEET THE COUNCIL

The Town Council is the legislative authority and sets the policies under which the Town operates. Duties of the Town Council include enacting legislation, approving programs, adopting the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets, and appropriating funds for specific services to the Town’s residents, businesses and visitors. The Town Council provides leadership through policy development on current practices and issues impacting the Town’s future over time.

  Betsy Davis was Re-elected effective July 2008 – term runs through 2010
  
• Darlene Kirk, Vice Mayor
  Darlene Kirk was re-elected, effective July, 2006. Her term runs through June, 2010.
  
• Kathy Jo Shea
  Kathy Jo Shea was elected, effective July, 2008. Her term runs through June, 2012.
  
• Catherine Murdock
  Catherine “Bundles” Murdock was Re-elected effective July 2008 – term runs through 2012.
  
• Lisa Patterson
  Lisa Patterson was elected, effective July, 2006. Her term runs through June, 2010.
  
• Judith Plescow was appointed, effective July, 2008. Her term runs through June, 2010.
  
• Mark T. Snyder
  Mark Snyder was re-elected, effective July, 2006. His term runs through June, 2010.

  Elected effective July 2008 – term runs through 2012.
